Nowadays music is able for us in a very different ways: on the internet, radio, CD’s, music platforms… However, there are two ways to listen music : the legal and the illegal form. Piracy is causing serious problems, especially for the music industry.  People discuss about which way we have to use.

On the one hand, it is known that currently, the music is becoming expensive, and not every person is willing to pay the price of music. 

Furthermore, It is true that pirating music or any type of “art” is very common and easy at present with the new platforms in internet and all the websites we can find. 

On the other hand,  we can not forget that pirating music or any type of art is an illegal action which is punished by law. In addition, with pirating, we are not supporting the work of the author. When we pirate music, we have the risk of get virus in our dispositive. 

On balance, they existe a lot of legal platforms where you can pay a fee and you can enjoy all the music you want without pirate the work of artists.

OPINION ESSAY

There has always been controversy with illegal substances, the government has banned some substances and condemned to negative social opinion, but allowing others that being much more dangerous are legal and allowed.

In this world there are different ways to evade, some choose alcohol or tobacco knowing that they are very harmful, and society sees it well, they do not judge it as harmful because it has always been normal, but it does not mean that it is not healthy .

In my opinion society is hypocritical with these issues, for example; Heroin or cocaine is shown its danger to human life, no habitual consumer can lead a normal life rhythm, another thing is when used festively, but what I believe is that there are other substances such as cannabis that although they do not alter the organism so that you cannot lead a normal life, they are judged as if their effect were that.

There are many people who are celebrities or recognized characters with high social positions, who may not drink alcohol because they know that drunks are not able to live their lives, or they may not smoke tobacco because they do not want to attract lung cancer , but if they smoke cannabis, which is more natural and less addictive.

Each one will know that he is doing well and that he is doing badly, each person is a different body and they affect him differently, but if this society condemns some substances, in my opinion I should judge them all equally.

Do you buy music or do you pirate it?

- Since I was little I have grown hand in hand with music, I have always believed that music is an art, an art that unites many people, capable of moving masses and changing lives.
Music is necessary for people, they help or they simply evade you, and there is a problem with this, people can pirate music or buy it. 

But it is still a business, a business with advantages and disadvantages, a giant industry behind which many people earn money by selling CDs, reproductions, and that is why music consumers should help this industry continue to grow.

One disadvantatge is the price of the CDs, they are expensive and you really risk that all the songs on the disc you like, but if you still can not spend 10 to 15 euros on a disc you can choose the option of digital platforms such as Spotify , Amazon Music or Apple Music.

The advantage of these platforms is that you can enjoy all the artists you want, songs and even video clips, but you will have to pay to do it unlimitedly.

In my opinion, what should be done is to always acquire music legally, because if you love music you have to help it keep growing, and if you can't buy all the CDs, you can have your Spotify account, and those records that are you prefer to buy them for the memory. To summarize, that is a good consumer of music.

In the last years people from different countries have been in more contact than in the past thanks to new technologies. Internet and social networks allow us to meet and stay in contact with foreigners. Also, schools usually teach other languages aside of the native language of the country.

Being bilingual brings nothing but benefits to today’s society. Relations between business located in different countries have been stablished thanks to people who speak the same language even though they aren’t native.

Knowing more languages can lead to more job opportunities abroad and studying in another country. Aside from that, you’ll be more comfortable when visiting those countries despite not speaking that language, because if you’re bilingual, the chances of meeting somebody who speaks the same language you do are higher.

On the other hand, there aren’t many downsides of being bilingual. There’s people who’ll laugh at you if you commit any mistakes or your pronunciation isn’t good. Also, it can lead you to mix some words or even forgetting them.

To sum up, learning new languages is very cool and doesn’t really have any negative effect, so why not trying to do so.

To begin, this tendence has had an enormous impact because of its benefits. Being bilingual can help you to keep your brain fit, and as a result, it gives you more rationalism. Furthermore it allows you to have more possibilities to work and study in your own country or abroad. Many people nowadays are studying masters in other nations because they can speak English.

On the other hand, to know more than one language could bring you some negative factors. You can mix them by talking or writing.

To sum up, I believe that knowing more than one language lets you have a lot of chances for your future.

Music is one of the most popular ways of expressing art around the world. It also one of the best ways to earn money for a lot of people, such as musicians and producers. However, since the apparition of digital platforms, some people have wanted to obtain and listen to music for free and it has caused a dilemma about if pirating music is good or not.

Just some people would argue against the fact that the price of music is too expensive for many people. Although many companies have created free music platforms to give an alternative the problem is that is not useful due to the number of adds which are put between songs. Furthermore, it is better than pay, but the prices still too expensive for those who don't have a regular income of money

Moreover, paying high prices for a CD is a bit unintelligible because of just being able to listen to it not many times. Also, people use to buy CDs when they are big fans of one musician, in this situation paying big amounts of money may be considered as insanity. However, for someone who listens to different songs or artists, there is no necessity of buying any CDs of those singers if they just like some songs.

All the things mentioned, it shows my firm belief that music is too expensive unless if you want a CD of a particular singer. Apart from that, everyone should have the opportunity of not having to pay for the music the like to listen to.

The bilingualism is the knowledge of two languages, for example: Catalan
and Spanish or Spanish and English, which cause problems and the
benefits.

The benefits are: the knowledge of more of one languages helps to
understand more people and another cultures and bilingual people are
more likely to get a job, especially, If the job is abroad for example: USA,
EEUU, Australia, New Zealand and more that the official idiom is the
English.

The problems of the bilingualism are: the hours of learning of the one
extra language replace another hours as the maths, the biology, the
chemistry etc. This fact makes learning difficult, particularly, the people
with language difficulties (dyslexic).

All in all, the bilingualism can help us our daily life and at job but also it
does more difficult the learning in general. For this fact, I believe that the
knowledge of more of one language should be optional.
