I've noticed that you still not using Facebook and I would like you to ask why you don't join Facebook. Facebook is one of the best social media that you can use nowadays, with Facebook is much easier to be in touch with your friends that are far away from you or also those who are near. Furthermore, you can catch up with old friends that you probably forgot it and talk with them using their direct chat or call them and do video calls with one of their many tools.
Apart from that, you've got the opportunity to meet new people around the world, discover new places or companies with just one click and filtering through many pages that Facebook recommends you. You can also know a little bit more about what they like or what they do by just watching their posts.

Even though posting photos online can reduce your privacy, you can choose what photos do you want to post and who can watch them. Nevertheless, having your profile online can allow creepy people to send you a friend request but you just have to deny them. Besides, you must be careful with the profiles you follow, accept or talk because it could be imposters that have copied one of your friends' identity or wants to swindle you.
Moreover, you must be careful with all the time that you spend on these social media because many times you know at what time you start but you never know when you're going to stop.
