Dialogue - Rut Pereda

Hermione and Draco are talking while going to school. Hermione knows Draco is kind of a bully, so she’s trying to tell him without hurting him, a part from trying to separate him from his toxic friendship.

HERMIONE: So, Draco, what’s with you and Dean?
DRACO: I don’t know, he’s a friend…
HERMIONE: A friend?
DRACO: Kind of, I don’t know. I have fun with him, he usually makes me laugh. So, yes, friends.
HERMIONE: Honestly, I don’t think he’s your friend. And that think about he making you laugh… I see it the other way round, more like you’re laughing at him.
DRACO: What are you thinking? It is not like it. Why you see it that way.
HERMIONE: Well Draco, pay attention to the details. You are constantly saying bad words to him or making fun of him in front of the entire school. Dean doesn’t want to go to positions if you are there. He has even told me he is really scared of you.
DRACO: Scared? Of what? Of me?
HERMIONE: Yeah. He’s afraid of you and your group of friends. He told me you’re always staring at him, or following him, or shouting at him. So, explain me if he’s lying about it all.
DRACO: He’s exaggerating. We are not like that.
HERMIONE: Draco, you know it’s not the first time I’m trying to talk you about this. We’ve had this conversation thousands of times and it always has the same ending. You not being guilty. But that’s enough I’m over with cleaning your mess. You need to go away from them and start looking for better friends, such as Harry or Ron.
DRACO: No. They’re exaggerating. Yeah, we follow them or laugh at them or even stare them in class. But that’s no reason of being frightened of us....Okay, you might be right. Don’t look at me like that. Maybe, maybe I could be sort of a bully. I’m sorry, I will apologize for everything I’ve done. And I'll try to get new friends, but they'll never be Potter or Weasley.
