A girl confronts a friend of hers that she has known for 2
years in the park behind the school at patio time.
Bella: Hi Jacob,
it's been a few weeks since you were weird and we haven't talked but it's about
time to do it even if you don't want to. What's wrong? Please be clear with me
and explain what happened to you or what reasons you have for being annoying
the students recently. When I began to realize your behavior, I supported you,
I suppose because you are my friend and I appreciate you, but a moment has come
that I do not want or can continue to justify your actions ...
Jacob: I don't
want to talk Bella, leave me alone! No one understands me!
Bella: You need
to talk, you can't go on like this! Really, talk to me, I'm not asking you, I'm
demanding. We have known each other for a couple of years, trust me and take
out what you have inside.
Jacob: Look Bella
... maybe you all have an easy life but it is not my case. I don't know why I
behave like this with all of you, perhaps because they have done me so much
damage now I pay with you.
Bella: Like they
hurt you? Who?
Jacob: Some
neighbors of mine ... make life impossible for me and you know that I have
always had a very calm character and above all I have been very quiet and
fearful. But since a few weeks ago they started to treat me badly, the anger
has flooded me ... I hate to always be the one who takes the problems for being
Good.
Bella: I'm so
sorry Jacob ... Why didn't you tell me? I could have helped you ...
Jacob: I didn't
want you or someone I love to be disturbed too ...
Bella: First of
all, you are aware that it is not right how you are treating people right? It
doesn't solve anything treating people badly, you're doing what you don't want
them to do to you. Starting today, will you change that, okay? And this afternoon
when we leave school we will go to your house with some friends of mine and
they will defend you so they don't bother you again.
Jacob: I don't
think it's a good idea...there will be problems, but I trust you.
Bella: Trust me,
everything will be fine. Wait for me at the door downstairs when we leave at 2 p.m.
Jacob: Ok, see
you later and thanks for trying to help me ....
