Álvaro's formal email/letter

Dear Sir/Madam,
I would like to ask for a refund because the MP3 player that I bought on your web page, Gadgets, has been malfunctioning for hours now.

At first, the MP3 player worked really well so I was very satisfied with it, even though the device had some scratch marks in it. I had downloaded some songs, and I had recorded them to the MP3 player and it had been working without any problems. But, this morning i couldn't hear any of the songs and the device was making really strange noises.

I am also very dissapointed with the headphones, because they didn't last long and i have been using them carefully, so I had to use my old ones. Also, I was expecting a longer battery life , because the ad guaranteed a full 3 days.

I would like you to compensate the damage as soon as possible, with a new device, the same model and colour if possible, or a refund. This is not the first time that Gadgets has sold me a broken device, so I might rethink about buying something from your website again.
