Steve Jobs' Interview

Journalist: Hi, we are in MTV's programme  Old stars discoveries. Today we have with us someone very especial and known for all the world, so here, with us might I present our guest show, Steve Jobs. (applause)

Steve Jobs: Hi, it is a pleasure to be here.

Journalist: Oh no, the pleasure is us. So here we have one of the most known people all over the world. Known as an American entrepeneur besides being the co-founder and CEO from Apple Inc., he is known for getting into being the chairmain of Pixar, what let him worh in The Walt Disney Company. Also he was the founder of NeXT, company of which he is also the CEO. So, it seems like you have had a very busy life since you settle down.

Steve Jobs: Yeah, my life has been a bit busy since creating the first personal computer and, therefore, becoming the co-founder of this huge enterpise named Apple Inc.. However, at first I wasn't quite intererested neither in studies nor in technologies.

Journalist: Oh, yes, we have overheard about that. So, even though now you are on of the greatest minds of this century, at first it didn't seem quite like it. So which university had tho honor to have you but to also didn't have it at all?

Steve Jobs: So, the university was Reed College. However, later on I regretted giving up, even though I don't know if I could have had the fame I am having today with it. Nevertheless, I think I will feel more prepared and confident while doing some few things.

Journalist: Oh that's interesting. But let's talk about business. So you created Apple, then you were fired and you, in your own, decided to found another successful company NeXT and, after creating this you entered in Pixar whichhas made incredible films such as Toy Story. So, how did you feel when you were fired from Apple?

Steve Jobs: So, I was forced to leave my own company. As it is normal, I felt really depressed. However, I also knew I couldn't stop, I needed to do things, I had to move forward. For this reason I started thinking and came up with the idea, then I just had to improve it and letting it out and hope for success, which did happen. After founding these companies I felt recomforted again, but not as much as when I knew with the mergetion of NeXT and Apple I got to be the CEO of my first company again.

Journalist: Oh wow, you are a lucky man Steve. So, Apple is a company which ...
